IV DRIPS

What is an IV Drip?

An intravenous (IV) drip is a medical procedure that involves the administration of fluids, nutrients, or medications directly into a vein. This method allows for immediate absorption and use by the body.

It’s been recorded that some IV drips date back to the 1600s, but the practice became much more widespread during the 1900s after the advancement of techniques for safe, effective use.

In modern times, we’ve become accustomed to seeing celebrities use and promote IV drips to help look their best, and so naturally its popularity has become much more widespread.

what happens at the appointment IV DRIP process

Administering an IV drip involves a few key steps, carried out by our team:

Consultation: A member of our team will assess your needs and discuss your health history to tailor the IV formula.

Preparation: The selected IV drip formula is prepared in a sterile environment.

Insertion: A small needle is used to insert a cannula into a vein, usually on the arm.

Infusion: The IV drip is administered over a period, typically ranging from 20 minutes to an hour, depending on the formula.

Monitoring: Throughout the process, your response to the treatment is closely monitored.

Completion: Once the drip is completed, the needle is removed, and a small dressing is applied.

Each session is conducted on our dedicated treatment floor, ensuring a private, relaxed and positive experience.
